Adafruit Rugged Metal Pushbutton with White LED Ring

These chrome-plated metal buttons bring both durability and aesthetic appeal. Installation is straightforward: just drill a 16mm hole in materials up to 1/2" thick. A rubber gasket ensures water resistance.

The front features a flat metal actuator with a white LED ring, adding a touch of modern design. The button has three contacts for standard use—common, normally-open, and normally-closed. Two additional contacts power the LED ring, which requires 3 to 6V, thanks to a built-in resistor.

For higher voltages, such as 12V or 24V, add a 470 ohm resistor to maintain an LED current of around 20mA. This is a momentary push button: pressing it shorts the normally-open contact to the common, and releasing it reopens the circuit.
