FPC Camera Connector - 24-Pin, 0.5mm (Bottom-Contact)

The Sparkfun FPC Camera Connector is a versatile 24-Pin, 0.5mm, bottom-contact connector, providing a comprehensive solution for terminating FFC/FPC. Designed with a right angle orientation and surface mount termination, this connector boasts a current rating of 500mA and a voltage rating of 50V. Its 0.5mm pitch connectors offer a cost-effective, high pin count flex connector solution, while the traditional sliding actuator ensures secure cable attachment.

The Sparkfun FPC Camera Connector is the same connector utilized on the SparkFun Edge Development Board - Apollo3 Blue for the connection of the (HM01B0) Himax CMOS Imaging camera.

The connector comes with numerous features that make it a reliable and durable choice. It has 24 positions and a pitch of 0.5mm. Its termination style is SMD/SMT and it has a right-angle mounting. The bottom contact location and tin contact plating enhance its performance. With a current rating of 500mA and an operating temperature range of -55C to +105C, this connector is built to handle demanding conditions. It is made from liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with a voltage rating of 50V. The contact material is phosphor bronze, and it has a flammability rating of UL 94 V-0. The insulation resistance is 100MOhms and the FFC, FCB thickness is 0.30mm, 0.33mm. The connector stands 1.80mm above the board and has a slide lock locking feature. The cable end type is straight, tapered.
