Adafruit DC Motor in Micro Servo Body

This tiny DC Motor, designed to fit in a micro servo body, combines the convenience of a compact design with the functionality of a DC motor and plastic gear-train. Lightweight and economically efficient, it provides a cost-effective alternative to traditional micro servos by omitting the control board.

Running smoothly on 4-6VDC, this motor is powered effectively using Lipoly, 3 alkaline, or 4 NiMH batteries. It cannot be controlled directly from a microcontroller pin and requires an H-bridge like L293D or TB6612, or a motor shield for operation.

This motor is perfect for miniature robotics projects, easily attaching to small wheels via a simple screw mechanism. It comes with two screws and nuts for secure chassis mounting, making it an ideal choice for constructing your own robot vehicle.
