Inserting a chip is straightforward: Press down on the socket to retract spring fingers, place the chip in position with pin 1 markers aligned, and release to grip. To remove, press down, lift the chip with tweezers or let it fall into your hand, then release to secure the socket.

While slightly bulky, the socket is designed for easy chip insertion and removal, featuring delicate yet reliable pins. Keep in mind, sockets with 16 pins cost more compared to those with 8 pins due to the additional hardware.
