The AD8495 K-type thermocouple amplifier from Analog Devices offers straightforward integration for precise temperature measurements. Equipped with an analog output, it is ideal for microcontrollers with analog input capabilities, ensuring quick setup.
Power is versatile, ranging from 3-18VDC. The output voltage can be easily converted to temperature using the equation: Temperature = (Vout - 1.25) / 0.005 V. For instance, an output voltage of 1.5VDC translates to 50°C.
Each package includes a 2-pin terminal block for thermocouple connection, a fully assembled PCB featuring the AD8495 and TLVH431 1.25V precision voltage reference, and a pin header for breadboard compatibility. Note that only K-type thermocouples are supported.
The amplifier's temperature range spans from -250°C to +750°C with 5V power and from -250°C to +410°C with 3.3V power, contingent on the thermocouple's capacity. The terminal block color may vary between blue and black.
