Adafruit Aluminum SMT Heat Sink - 0.5"x0.5" square

Finding an effective heat sink can be challenging when you need to cool a SoC, motor driver, or other surface-mount package. Cool Innovations offers a solution with their 0.5" x 0.5" (12.5mm x 12.5mm) square heat sink featuring nine round fins.

The compact design is easy to modify, as the total height is 0.4" (10mm) and can be filed down to fit specific cases. Installation is straightforward; attach using thermal tape or a small amount of thermal paste on any flat chip, such as large BGAs, TSSOPs, or QFNs.
