Adafruit Alphabet LED Filament - Warm White Letter "X"

This warm-white glowy letter uses cutting-edge COB (chip on board) LEDs, resembling classic 'Edison-like' LED bulbs, designed to emit a bright, ambient light. Crafted from countless tiny LED diodes, they are securely bonded on a metal base and shielded with silicone coating for durability.

The ultra-thin PCB substrate allows light to pass through the back, albeit dimmer, despite the LEDs being positioned on one side. Operating on only 3V, a current-limiting resistor is recommended to manage up to 100mA. These LEDs require rigid placement but offer a consistent warm glow, effectively simulating traditional tungsten filaments.

Create custom messages by aligning multiple letters; their lightweight nature ensures effortless attachment to surfaces or fabrics—or even suspension with fishing line. Being essentially elongated LEDs, you can easily adjust the brightness via PWM dimming. For power-up, simply connect 3V to each end—identify the negative side by the - symbol on the PCB, and switch connections if necessary.
