Smart RGB+White LEDs take lighting to the next level. These NeoPixel strips feature four LEDs in each unit—red, green, blue, and white—offering unparalleled lighting effects.

The 144 LED/m RGBW strip comes with a sleek white casing and PCB. Control each LED individually, with the flexibility to cut or extend the strip, making it perfect for dynamic projects.

Operating with an 800 KHz protocol, these LEDs support 32-bit color precision via 8-bit PWM. Although they work well, DotStars offer a smoother 20 KHz PWM for moving applications. Each LED features a built-in microcontroller, making it easy to customize brightness and color.

The flexible PCB material is weatherproof and easily alterable at 0.25-inch intervals. Use a 5V DC power supply to avoid damage, and note the more complex wiring that requires a NeoPixel library with RGBW support.

Soldering is straightforward with 0.1-inch copper pads, and strips are extendable but be mindful of current needs. The strip includes a middle join with minor LED spacing variations, ideal for those who value adaptability in their lighting solutions.
