Adafruit Alphabet LED Filament - Warm White Letter "W"

This warm-white glowy letter utilizes COB LEDs, which are commonly seen in Edison-like LED bulbs. These LEDs are arranged in patterns to provide a bright, warm lighting effect, characterized by a uniform glow that mimics a tungsten-like filament.

Crafted from dozens of micro LED diodes bonded on a stiff metal backing, they are coated in silicone for protection. Although designed with LEDs on only one side, their thin PCB substrate allows a slightly dimmer glow to emanate from the back.

Requiring only 3V to light up, these LED letters are powered with parallel LED arrangements, with a recommended max of 100mA current. They can be dimmed easily using PWM and are powered by connecting 3V across both ends—switch polarity if needed.

Not flexible, but lightweight, these letters can be arranged into words and affixed to surfaces, sewn to fabrics, or tied with fishing lines. Pair them with Arcade Button Quick-Connect Wire Pairs or solder/clip to the bottom tabs for easy connectivity.
