Adafruit Alphabet LED Filament - Warm White Letter "R"

This warm-white glowy letter, crafted from COB LEDs, provides a bright, warm lighting effect reminiscent of classic 'Edison-like' bulbs. These LEDs are composed of numerous micro LED diodes bonded on a sturdy metal backing and shielded with silicone.

Though the LEDs are only mounted on one side, the thin PCB substrate allows a dimmer glow on the back as well. Operating at just 3 volts, it's recommended to limit current to a maximum of 100mA with a resistor. Despite their rigidity, they offer a uniform glow, excellently simulating tungsten-like filaments.

Ideal for creating illuminated words, their lightweight design allows for easy attachment to surfaces, fabric, or suspension with fishing line. Being essentially elongated LEDs, they are easily dimmed using PWM. Connection is straightforward: simply attach to both ends with the cathode marked by a negative symbol.
