This RGBW NeoPixel strip features a neon-like silicone tubing, merging "Addressable NeoPixels" and "Ruggedized LED Neon" for intuitive programming and exceptional durability. It has a diffused neon appearance, eliminating the need for costly transformers or gas-filled glass tubes.
This flexible, bendable strip consists of robust translucent silicone rubber that offers a rounded diffuser alternative to our flat diffuser models. With 144 LEDs per meter, it operates on a 5V power supply, providing high-density illumination.
The silicone casing ensures the strip is sturdy and weather-resistant, suitable for outdoor projects like cosplay, bike lighting, and festival decorations. Note that while it is not designed for underwater use, it can withstand common outdoor conditions. The strip can be easily customized by cutting with wire cutters, although rejoining cut pieces is not possible.
Each 1-meter strip includes two JST SM 2-pin connectors and red and black power wires. Simply connect 5V power and NeoPixel (WS281x) data to the provided pins, ensuring the ground pin is shared between the power supply and microcontroller. Set your NeoPixel driver to RGBW mode for optimal results, utilizing the 6000K white LED element. A warm white version is also available for varying preferences.
Our extensive NeoPixel Uberguide offers comprehensive support, complete with library and example code for Arduino, CircuitPython, and Raspberry Pi, allowing you to integrate NeoPixels into any project with ease.
