This warm-white glowy letter is crafted from COB (chip on board) LEDs, commonly found in 'Edison-like' LED bulbs, arranged to deliver a bright, warm glow. It features dozens of micro LED diodes bonded on a sturdy metal substrate, coated in silicone for added durability.
The design allows light to emanate from the back as well, albeit slightly dimmer, thanks to the thin PCB substrate. Operating requires just 3V, with a recommended current limit of a maximum of 100mA, achieved via a resistor. While not flexible, these LEDs offer a uniform glow reminiscent of tungsten filaments.
Lightweight and versatile, they can be glued to surfaces, sewn onto fabric, or tethered with fishing line to form words or designs. Perfect for PWM dimming, they connect easily with 3V power at both ends. Simply look for the cathode negative side marked by a small symbol. If it doesn't illuminate at first, reverse the connection.
This product is compatible with Arcade Button Quick-Connect Wire Pairs or can be soldered and clipped to tabs at the base, offering flexible installation options for creative custom lighting projects.
