Adafruit Air Pump and Vacuum DC Motor - 4.5 V and 2.5 LPM

Create dynamic inflatables or air-powered projects effortlessly with this compact air pump. Designed with simplicity in mind, this DC motor-powered pump operates at approximately 4.5V, drawing about 500 mA of current. Conveniently power it alongside your other DC motors or servos using a 5V supply.

The pump intakes air from its side, directing it out through a tubing port, with airflow unchanged by reversing the motor's polarity. Perfect for single-direction tasks, for dual capabilities, two pumps are needed. It delivers a steady flow rate of 2.5 liters per minute, with a maximum stall pressure tested at -55 kPa.

Ideal for intermittent use, the motor is tested for 30,000 cycles under a duty cycle of around 50% (10 seconds on, 5 seconds off). Compatible with power transistors or motor driver chips like the L293D, it pairs seamlessly with our CRICKIT series boards for speed modulation via PWM.
