This W25Q128JVSSIQ QSPI Flash memory chip offers a compact solution for expanding storage, perfectly suited for powerful microcontrollers like the RP2040, ESP32, RT10xx, and STM32 series. Its external configuration ensures up to 16 Megabytes of memory without increasing the chip count, keeping costs manageable.

With Quad SPI I/O, designers can take advantage of efficient data access despite the slower external memory interface. The 3.3V chip comes with the Quad Enable bit already set, ensuring seamless integration in QSPI mode. While in SPI mode, connect unused 'hold' and 'write protect' pins to 3.3V for optimal functioning.

Paired with the Adafruit_SPIFlash library, it easily interfaces with Arduino systems. In CircuitPython, a TOML definition file streamlines integration.
