Each LED can be individually controlled with 8-bit PWM per channel, allowing for 32-bit color precision and expansive creative possibilities. These innovative LEDs are split, half RGB and half a white LED with yellow phosphor, offering a unique "egg yolk" appearance when unlit.

With an 800 KHz protocol and 400 Hz PWM rate, NeoPixels ensure seamless color transitions. However, DotStars with a 20 KHz PWM rate are recommended for smoother pixelation if movement visibility is a concern. Built into a flexible PCB, these strips can be easily cut and customized at 0.65"/1.7cm intervals.

The weatherproof sheathing and solder-friendly copper pads make these strips ideal for various applications. Power considerations are crucial; a 5V/2A supply can drive up to 1 meter, while a 5V/10A supply can handle up to 4 meters.

For assembly, connect using a 2.1mm DC jack and 2-pin JST set for quick setup. Note the necessity of RGBW-compatible NeoPixel libraries, as standard RGB libraries may cause discrepancies. Sold by the meter, these strips offer practical versatility for any scale of project.
