Adafruit Aluminum Flex Shaft Coupler - 5mm to 8mm

Connect this to that with a set-screw coupler. These couplers are made of machined aluminum and have a spiral cut that makes them slightly flexible, allowing them to fit two shafts even if they are not perfectly co-linear while helping to reduce binding effects.

The spiral cut introduces a springy nature along the X, Y, and Z axes, ensuring minimal backlash, making them excellent for precision CNC work. This specific coupler connects a 5mm diameter shaft to an 8mm diameter shaft, perfectly complementing our stepper motors.

Each coupler comes with two sets of double set-screws for secure attachment. A 2mm Allen wrench is required to tighten or loosen the set-screws for optimal operation.
