Interested in making neat stuff with an Arduino-compatible board but not sure where to start? This kit includes all the pieces needed to complete over 20 different circuits and projects, offering everything you need to begin experimenting immediately.
No soldering is required, and it works seamlessly with Mac, Windows, and Linux. This pack includes the Adafruit Metro, a development board designed for ease of use and hacker-friendly features. At its center is an ATmega328P, with 32KB of flash and 2KB of RAM, running at 16 MHz. It is fully compatible with the Arduino IDE by selecting "Arduino UNO" in the board-type menu.
Power the Metro with 7-9V polarity-protected DC or through the micro USB connector, automatically switching between USB and DC power. It has 19 GPIO pins, including 6 Analog ins, and features hardware SPI, I2C, and UART to USB ports, all with 5V logic levels with an easy conversion to 3.3V logic.
The board is equipped with four indicator LEDs for convenient debugging. It comes pre-loaded with the Optiboot bootloader for straightforward reprogramming, using only 512 bytes.
This kit includes an Arduino Prototyping Bundle, a half-size breadboard, an acrylic holder, and various electronic components and sensors, like a TMP36 Temperature Sensor and a Mini Remote Control. The full-color printed 32-page Experimenter's Guide and breadboard layout sheets ensure smooth project execution.
