Adafruit I2S MEMS Microphone Breakout - ICS-43434

The breakout board for the ICS43434 I2S MEMS microphone offers a compact digital sound solution, comparable to classic microphones, but is smaller and more efficient. This MEMS microphone, unlike traditional ones, provides a fully digital output, eliminating the need for analog conversion.

Specifications include a frequency range of 50Hz - 15KHz, equipped with a low-pass filter cutting frequencies above 24KHz. It features three digital pins: Clock, Data, and Left-Right Clock, enabling seamless integration with microcontrollers or computers with I2S support.

Ideal for audio recording and sound detection, it supports 24-bit output without firmware or driver configuration. Customize your setup with stereo capabilities by using two microphones connected via shared Clock, WS, and Data lines, utilizing the Select pin for channel designation.

This bottom-ported microphone suits devices with Cortex M-series chips, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi. Please note, it's a 1.6-3.6V device, meaning it’s not compatible with 5V logic systems. Perfect for applications requiring precise digital audio input without the noise issues of analog systems.
