Adafruit Rugged Metal Pushbutton with Black Finish - 16mm 6V RGB Latching

Latching rugged metal push buttons now feature a vibrant RGB LED ring light. Chrome-plated for durability, these buttons are engineered with flair. Drill a 16mm hole into materials up to 1/4" thick to securely fit them, complete with a waterproof rubber gasket.

Specifically designed contacts include two gold ones for the button and four for the RGB ring: one anode and three cathodes corresponding to red, green, and blue. Operate at 3-6V to illuminate or add a 1K ohm resistor for higher voltages, such as 12V or 24V, keeping LED current around 20mA.

Produce any color by PWM-ing the RGB pins. The latching mechanism stays engaged until pressed again, while separate electrical paths for the switch and LED enable independent color control using a microcontroller.
