Adafruit DPI TFT Kippah for Raspberry Pi

The DPI Kippah from Adafruit enables seamless connection of a TFT panel to a Raspberry Pi, bypassing the need for an HDMI decoder and delivering ultra-fast 18-bit color display. Designed for versatility, this compact board attaches to Raspberry Pi models B+, A+, Pi 2, Pi 3, or Zero, effortlessly replicating HDMI output on a display.

Note that GPIO pins 2-21 are utilized, along with inoperative UART RX/TX and standard I2C pins, meaning HDMI/NTSC output isn't simultaneously available. While PWM isn't available for backlight control, a custom setup with an external PWM generator is possible. Our tested configuration works with Raspbian, ensuring reliable operation.
