Adafruit BMP585 Ported I2C / SPI Temperature and Pressure Sensor

Description

The Adafruit BMP585 Precision Barometric Pressure and Altimeter Breakout enhances environmental sensing with unparalleled precision. It features a low-altitude noise of just 1cm (0.08Pa) and offers both I2C and SPI configurations for versatile connectivity.

The sensor provides a relative accuracy of ±6 Pascals at room temperature, translating to about ±50 centimeters of altitude, which significantly surpasses the BMP280 and BMP388. It is software-compatible with BMP580/BMP581 and includes a port for attachment, making it an ideal choice for projects requiring ported sensors.

The BMP585 excels in applications like drones, wearables, and altimeter functionalities, capable of tracking height above sea level with temperature measurements accurate to ±0.5°C. It comes pre-soldered onto a custom PCB with a 3.3V regulator and level shifting, compatible with both 3V and 5V microcontrollers.

Utilizing the STEMMA QT form factor, this sensor ensures seamless integration with other devices via the SparkFun Qwiic I2C connectors. Get up and running quickly with an Arduino library, enabling data retrieval within minutes.
