Adafruit Audio BFF Add-on for QT Py and Xiao

Transform your QT Py into a robust audio playback device with the Adafruit Audio BFF, featuring a MicroSD card slot supporting up to 64 GB and an I2S 3 Watt amplifier. This compact board attaches neatly onto your QT Py or Xiao, using either solder or removable pin and socket headers.

Equipped with a MAX98357 amplifier, it enables high-quality audio using a 4 or 8-ohm speaker, connected via a picoblade-compatible 2-pin cable. Enjoy 'stereo' mix output at 9 dB gain, ideal for immersive sound projects.

The board utilizes the SPI port and 4 GPIO pins, namely A1 for audio data, A2 for wordselect clock, and A3 for bitclock. The SD card connects through MOSI, MISO, SCK, and A0 for card select. Compatible with ESP32, nRF52840, and RP2040 series boards, but not the ATSAMD21 QT Py.
