The innovative 16x8 LED matrix backpack simplifies the setup process, reducing the need from 24 to just 2 I2C pins with its efficient HT16K33 I2C LED driver. This seamless integration allows for easy control of each of the 128 bright yellow LEDs.

Ideal for crafting scrolling displays or animations, the kit supports versatile usage from conveying messages to displaying emoticons. Example setups include small bitmap emoticons or text akin to a sign in a miniature car dealership.

Included in the kit are a pre-tested 16x8 0.8" LED FeatherWing, two ultra-bright square yellow matrices, and a pair of 16-pin headers. Assembly requires minimal soldering, achievable in about 15 minutes.
