Adafruit 3.2" TFT LCD with Touchscreen Breakout Board w/MicroSD Socket

Description

Add some jazz and pizazz to your project with a color touchscreen LCD. This TFT display is really big at 3.2 inches and features a bright 6 white-LED backlight. Enjoy a rainbow of colors with 240x320 pixel resolution and individual RGB pixel control, outperforming standard black and white 128x64 displays.

Experience the added bonus of a resistive touchscreen for detecting finger presses anywhere on the screen. An integrated controller with RAM buffering significantly reduces the workload on your microcontroller.

Choose between two modes: 8-bit requiring 8 digital data and 4 or 5 control lines or the sleek SPI mode using just 5 pins, making it simpler though slightly slower. Touchscreen interaction needs 4 pins or the optional resistive touchscreen controller to utilize I2C or SPI. The user-friendly breakout board accommodates 3-5V with high-speed level shifters compatible with any microcontroller.

In SPI mode, explore the onboard MicroSD card socket to showcase images directly from a card. We supply more than just a datasheet—access a comprehensive open-source graphics library capable of drawing a variety of shapes and text, tailored for both 8-bit and SPI modes. Additionally, delve into our touch screen library which accurately detects x, y, and pressure, accompanied by example code to streamline your project setup.
