Adafruit 1 Watt Cool White LED - Heatsink Mounted

Make a 1 Watt flashlight or a headlamp with this ultra-bright LED, boasting 90 Lumens in a 140-degree Lambertian pattern. It's incredibly bright, comparable to 30,000 millicandela, offering a 'cool' 6000K pure white light.

Mounted on an aluminum PCB, it provides efficient heatsinking and is easy to solder. Connect to the large + and - pads on the PCB for seamless installation.

For optimal performance, drive the LED with a constant current at 350 mA. Under-driving for compactness is possible; at approximately 3V, it draws around 200 mA. Connect two alkaline batteries directly for a basic bright lamp, or use a 3.3V power supply. These configurations enable versatile applications, including crafting a vintage LED bike light with a 1W white LED.
