This lineup now features the Adafruit PCM5102 I2S DAC with Line Level Output. Known for delivering clean, high-quality stereo audio, it requires no MCLK or I2C configuration. Simply feed I2S audio, and it flawlessly handles the rest.

Choose between the PCM5100 with a 100dB signal-to-noise ratio or the PCM5102 for superior 112dB. Both models are pin-compatible, allowing easy swapping.

Key features include ease of use with simple 3-5V DC power and connectivity via BCLK, WSEL, and DIN. It auto-detects audio format from the WSEL/BCLK ratio and has no MCLK pin requirement, auto-generating from bit clock.

Additional breakout options enable filtering, muting, and de-emphasis for 44.1kHz audio. The line-level output is optimized for no less than 1K ohm loads and unsuitable for driving headphones. Direct wiring is possible via audio output breakout pads.

Each order includes an I2S Stereo DAC breakout and headers for breadboard use, ready to ensure your audio playback needs are expertly met.
