Adafruit Unicorn LED Filament

This glowy unicorn is crafted from COB LEDs, commonly found in Edison-style LED bulbs, arranged to produce a bright, warm lighting effect. Each unicorn features dozens of micro LED diodes bonded together on a durable metal backing, coated in protective silicone.

The PCB substrate is thin, allowing light to emanate from both sides, albeit dimmer from the back. Operating on just 3V, it can glow with a recommended current limit of 100mA using a resistor. Despite its rigidity, it mimics a tungsten filament perfectly, offering a uniform glow all around.

Ideal for miniature settings such as dioramas or dollhouses, this fantastical creature is a standout addition. Its design allows for easy PWM dimming, and powering involves a simple connection to 3V at both ends. If unlit initially, reversing the connector should solve the issue. Compatible with Arcade Button Quick-Connect Wire Pairs, it effortlessly integrates into various setups.
