QTRX-HD-25RC Reflectance Sensor Array: 25-Channel, 4mm Pitch, RC Output, Low Current

Pololu presents the QTRX-HD-25RC Reflectance Sensor Array, a 25-channel device with a 4mm pitch and RC output. Its compact size of 101.0 x 16.5mm makes it suitable for various applications. The array operates at a maximum current of 3.5mA for the LED and 56mA for the board. It works optimally within a 10mm range and requires a power supply between 2.9V and 5.5V.

The QTRX-HD-25RC Reflectance Sensor Array is equipped with IR LED/phototransistor pairs, making it an excellent tool for accurately detecting changes in reflectance, such as line detection. The array offers dimmable brightness control that is independent of the supply voltage. It also provides separate controls for the odd and even emitters.

The closer the object to the sensor array, the higher the contrast between light and dark readings. However, it is still capable of detecting high-reflectance objects at a distance of up to 50mm. This version of the sensor array features high-performance, low-current QTRX sensors with lenses, ensuring precise and efficient operation.
