Sparkfun UHF RFID H9 Tag - 30mm x 16mm (Adhesive)

This ultra-thin adhesive UHF RFID tag is crafted for versatility and high performance. With dimensions of just 3 cm by 1.6 cm, it's compact enough to adhere to almost any object, from inventory items to project enclosures, while delivering dependable wireless identification. Built around the advanced H9 chip, it offers notable improvements in speed, range, and memory compared to the previous H3 generation.

Ideal for challenging applications, these UHF RFID tags excel where standard tags may not suffice. The enhanced sensitivity, improved by 2 dBm over the H3, ensures a longer reading range and more reliable detection. This makes them perfect for environments where extended reach is necessary.

Supporting data rates up to 1,280 kbps—double the speed of the H3—these tags are well-suited for high-volume scanning operations. This increased speed facilitates efficient data handling, particularly in fast-paced environments.

The tags adhere to the ISO/IEC 18000-6C (RAIN UHF) standard, featuring dynamic power adjustment and advanced anti-collision algorithms. This ensures seamless operation even when multiple tags are present, reducing the likelihood of interference and enhancing overall performance.

The H9 chip expands storage capabilities significantly, offering 176 bits more user memory than previous models, ideal for custom data logging. The memory map includes 688 bits of read/write user memory, adjustable EPC memory ranging from 96 to 496 bits, a pre-programmed 48-bit TID, and 64 bits reserved for access and kill passwords. The "Kill" command feature allows for permanent tag deactivation, adding a layer of security and privacy.
