The 3.4" square TFT screen elevates display technology with its 480x480 16-bit full-color pixels, promising brilliant visuals even at 80-degree angles thanks to its IPS panel. This advanced display is ideal for complex projects requiring precise color fidelity but does not include touchscreen functionality.
Featuring the ST7701S driver, this module employs both SPI and TTL RGB data, making it a unique setup incompatible with standard rectangular displays. Note that the SPI is utilized solely for configuration purposes—pixel rendering over SPI is not supported.
Designed for high-performance tasks, it requires a robust microcontroller like the ESP32-S3 with octal PSRAM or computers such as the Raspberry Pi, either through a direct DPI connection or with a controller like the ICN6211. It's not feasible to connect with basic microcontrollers such as an Arduino or Feather.
This display module is free from any PCB inclusion, demanding expert familiarity with RGB-666 display support for proper usage. Specific driver board compatibility is a prerequisite for seamless integration.
