The BMA400, by Bosch Sensortech©, offers a full-scale acceleration range of ±2/±4/±8/±16g. It operates with exceptionally low current consumption of < 14.5µA at its highest performance settings. The sensor also includes a comprehensive set of on-chip interrupt features such as auto wakeup/low power, step counter, activity recognition, orientation detection, and tap/double tap.
The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is a collection of I2C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables designed to make prototyping faster and less prone to mistakes. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector, reducing the amount of required PCB space and preventing incorrect connections due to polarized connections.
Some of the key features of the SparkFun Qwiic BMA400 Triple Axis Accelerometer Breakout include a supply voltage range of 1.72 - 3.6V, ultra-low current consumption of < 14.5µA at highest performance settings, I2C interface (Qwiic-enabled), SPI interface (disabled by default), selectable acceleration ranges of ±2/±4/±8/±16g, and an output data rate range of 12.5 - 800Hz (Normal Mode) and 25Hz (Low-Power Mode).
The product comes with a schematic, eagle files, board dimensions, a datasheet (BMA400), a hookup guide, a Qwiic info page, a BMA400 Arduino Library, and a GitHub Hardware Repo.
