SparkFun TFT LCD Breakout - 1.8" (128x160)

The SparkFun TFT LCD Breakout - 1.8" (128x160) is a vibrant and flexible solution for adding a visual display or interface to your project. It boasts a 4-wire SPI interface and a microSD card holder, making it a breeze to integrate visual display capabilities and multimedia storage into your project.

This breakout is compatible with Arduino and is recommended to be used with microcontrollers that have additional RAM, such as the SparkFun Thing Plus. It can be powered using either 5V or 3.3V. The microSD card holder shares the same SPI bus as the display, reducing the pin count required and providing ample storage for images or other files. The SparkFun HyperDisplay library has been specifically designed to support this breakout, enhancing its functionality and ease of use.

The SparkFun TFT LCD Breakout comes with a large backing PCB, offering a secure way to mount the display in your project. If you require a more flexible solution, the display module can be removed, the backing board can be snapped in half, and the display module re-inserted, leaving a minimal frame around the display for seamless integration into your project.
