The kit is designed to help you take advantage of the Raspberry Pi 4's I/O pins, which offer many benefits for a wide range of applications. It covers the basics such as using LEDs and buttons, but also provides a solid set of parts for working with any other hardware I/O and the 40-pin header. The kit also includes a 64GB MicroSD card for super-fast read/write operations.
The kit is designed to work with the Raspberry Pi's 2x20, 40-pin header. A special extender is included so that you can plug in the ribbon cable while using the provided heatsink case. The kit also comes with a Qwiic Shim, which makes it easy to work with I2C based Qwiic boards with the Pi. You won't need to do any soldering to use this kit.
Note: This version of the Raspberry Pi 4 Hardware Starter Kit does not include a Raspberry Pi. You will need to purchase this separately.
