SMD LED - RGB APA102C-5050 (Pack of 10)

The APA102C-5050, often known as "DotStar", is a 5mm x 5mm SMD LED. This LED is remarkably vibrant and colourful, thanks to an integrated control circuit embedded within it. A close look reveals a tiny gold chip and minuscule gold wires connecting the chip to the LED. This is the same APA102C LED that is included in Sparkfun's Lumenati line, making it an excellent choice for projects requiring a splash of color without a hefty price tag.

The APA102C-5050 comes in a strip of 10, with each LED housing three smaller LEDs, giving you the RGB (Red/Green/Blue) spectrum.
