This glowy skull showcases an intricate design made from COB (chip on board) LEDs, similar to those in 'Edison-like' LED bulbs, arranged to emit a bright, warm light. These are crafted from dozens of micro LED diodes on a rigid metal base, coated in silicone for durability.
The LEDs are positioned on one side, but thanks to the ultra-thin PCB substrate, light softly filters through the back. Operate efficiently at just 3V, though utilizing a resistor to limit the current to a max of 100mA is advisable. Unlike flexible LED strips, these provide consistent illumination reminiscent of a tungsten filament.
Add a dash of neon eeriness to miniatures, dioramas, dollhouses, and more. The LEDs behave like a 'big long LED,' easily dimmable using PWM. Connect simply with a 3V power source to both the anode and cathode, indicated by a negative symbol on the PCB. If there's no immediate light, reversing the connection should solve the issue. Compatible with Arcade Button Quick-Connect Wire Pairs - 0.11” (10 pack).
