Adafruit Short Flex Sensor

Detecting flexing or bending in one direction, this sensor serves as an intuitive interface similar to its role in the Nintendo PowerGlove. Operating as variable resistors, their resistance shifts from approximately 25KΩ when straight to nearly 100KΩ when fully bent, allowing for diverse applications.

Easy to integrate, they work with both analog inputs on microcontrollers (using a pull-up resistor) and digital inputs by incorporating a 0.1uF capacitor for RC timing. Ensure durability by providing strain relief, such as clamping or gluing, especially around the delicate pin area, to maintain contact integrity.
