Shadow Chassis

The Shadow Chassis is a rugged, modular robot platform from RobotZone. This kit is made from robust ABS plastic and features the Actobotics 1.96cm and 3.81cm hub patterns, allowing for the attachment of a wide array of components such as sensors, controllers, and power sources. The design allows for easy assembly, with each panel snapping together securely. The kit includes convenient "snap on" micro-controller mounts, allowing you to attach a variety of controllers including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, SparkFun RedBoard, or SparkFun RedBot Mainboard. It also offers a mounting hole for a standard size servo and a 4xAA battery holder with barrel jack termination.

The kit includes a top and bottom chassis plate, front and rear motor mounts, side struts, encoder mounts, micro-controller mounts, a battery pack clip, line follower mount and mount plate, a nub caster, and a 4xAA battery holder.

The Shadow Chassis measures 196mm in length, 126mm in width, and 44mm in height (53.25mm with the Nub Caster). This compact size makes it ideal for a variety of applications, from educational projects to advanced robotics experiments.
