Adafruit Rugged Metal Pushbutton with Blue LED Ring

These chrome-plated metal buttons are both rugged and stylish. Drill a 16mm hole in any material up to 1/2" thick for a snug fit, complete with a rubber gasket to keep water out. The front features a flat metal actuator encircled by a blue LED ring.

On the back, you'll find three contacts for the button (common, normally-open, normally-closed) and two for the blue LED ring, allowing for versatile wiring options. Power the LED with 3 to 6V for a brilliant glow, thanks to a built-in resistor. For higher voltages like 12V or 24V, simply add a 470-ohm resistor in series to maintain the LED current around 20mA.

This is a momentary push button: press it, and the 'normally-open' contact connects to the common contact; release it, and it opens again.
