Adafruit RGB LED weatherproof flexi-strip 30 LED/m - 2m

These LED strips provide vibrant, adjustable lighting with 30 RGB LEDs per meter and can be controlled using a microcontroller and three transistors. Powered by a 9-12V DC supply, their design demands grounding of the R/G/B pins for illumination.

Utilize any NPN or N-channel MOSFET along with PWM inputs to achieve dynamic color mixing. For consistent powering, a robust 12V supply is essential, ideal for fixed setups. For portability, an 8xAA battery holder is recommended.

The strips feature a durable, weatherproof coating and a white background, embellished with a 3M adhesive for easy mounting on smooth surfaces. Perfect for enhancing your bike, art projects, costumes, or unique fashion statements.

The strips are weatherproof, suitable for light outdoor use, but not for prolonged sun or water exposure. Not designed for submersion in water, they are best used indoors.

Each 5-meter reel is versatile and can be easily trimmed with wire cutters every 10 cm. To modify, simply trim the weatherproof cover and solder to the 0.1" copper pads. Sold by the meter, full reels or cut pieces of reels with or without connectors are available.
