Adafruit RGB Positive 16x2 LCD+Keypad Kit for Raspberry Pi

This new Adafruit Pi Plate simplifies integrating an RGB 16x2 Character LCD, minimizing pin usage to just two I2C pins on your Raspberry Pi. The kit includes a high-quality PCB with necessary components, ensuring easy assembly in about 30 minutes, even for novices.

The Pi Plate supports both Revision 1 and 2 Raspberry Pi models. Its design accommodates the Pi Model B+ and Pi 2, using an extra-tall 26-pin header to sit above USB and Ethernet jacks safely. Electrical tape is recommended for insulation.

Offering a sleek user interface with 4 directional buttons and a select button, it transforms projects into stand-alone systems without a computer. The Python library simplifies interfacing, debouncing keypad inputs, and controlling LCD backlight colors like Red, Green, Blue, and more.
