The Raspberry Pi AI Kit combines the Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ with a Hailo AI acceleration module, engineered to seamlessly enhance the capabilities of Raspberry Pi 5.

Delivering 13 tera-operations per second (TOPS), this solution efficiently supports neural networks for tasks like object detection and pose estimation. The 26 TOPS variant offers higher throughput, accommodating larger networks and simultaneous multiple network operations.

Leveraging the PCIe Gen 3 interface of Raspberry Pi 5, the AI HAT+ integrates effortlessly, with automatic detection of the Hailo accelerator via an up-to-date Raspberry Pi OS. The built-in rpicam-apps camera applications interface natively with the module, optimizing post-processing tasks using the neural network processing unit (NPU).

Equipped with a pre-fitted thermal pad, the module ensures heat is effectively dissipated, enhancing performance. Supplied with a 16mm stacking header, spacers, and screws, this HAT+ meets Raspberry Pi specifications and is ready for integration with Raspberry Pi Active Cooler.
