Adafruit Number LED Filament - Warm White "9"

This warm-white glowy number is crafted using COB (chip on board) LEDs, reminiscent of 'Edison-like' LED bulbs, designed to emit a bright, warm light. The LEDs are composed of numerous micro diodes, intricately bonded on a sturdy metal backing and shielded by a silicone coating.

Despite LEDs being arranged on one side, the extremely thin PCB substrate allows some glow to extend out the back. Operating at just 3V, a resistor is advised for current limiting to ensure no more than 100mA flows through. Though inflexible, these LEDs offer a consistent tungsten-like filament glow, ideal for creative arrangements.

Their lightweight nature makes them versatile: they can be glued to surfaces, sewn onto fabrics, or even tied with fishing line. As 'big long LEDs,' PWM dimming is easily achieved, adding to their versatility. Simply supply 3V power by connecting to each end, with the cathode marked by a - symbol on the PCB. If needed, reverse the connection.
