Adafruit NeoPixel Ring - 12 x 5050 RGB LED with Integrated Drivers

Round and round and round they go! 12 ultra-bright smart LED NeoPixels form a perfect circle with a 1.5" (37mm) outer diameter. These rings are chainable, allowing you to connect the output pin of one to the input pin of another and control numerous rings using just a single microcontroller pin!

Each LED contains its own driver chip, making them individually addressable with ~18mA constant current drive. This ensures consistent color even with voltage variations, eliminating the need for external choke resistors. With a 5VDC power supply, you're set to illuminate your projects with vibrant colors.

A single data line with a timing-specific protocol grants precision control. Compatible with real-time microcontrollers like AVR, Arduino, PIC, and mbed, these NeoPixels are unsuitable for Linux-based microcomputers or interpreted microcontrollers. An 8MHz or faster processor is necessary.

The NeoPixel library for Arduino supports these pixels, tailored for AVR cores. Each package includes a single ring with 12 fully assembled and tested RGB LEDs, ready to add brilliance to your next creation!
