The HRLV-MaxSonar-EZ sensor series is an advanced yet economical solution for precise range-finding and proximity detection. Designed for compact spaces, each unit occupies under one cubic inch, offering 1mm resolution for outstanding accuracy.

Key features include target-size and voltage compensation, which enhance measurement precision. These sensors effectively block external noise and incorporate internal speed-of-sound temperature compensation, with an option for external adjustment.

Detecting objects at distances from 1mm to 5 meters, the sensors deliver reliable readings even for objects closer than 30cm, which are reported as 30cm. Versatile interface outputs include pulse width, analog voltage, and serial digital formats such as RS232 or TTL.
