Adafruit LED Illuminated Pushbutton - 30mm Round

A button is a button, and a switch is a switch, but this LED illuminated arcade button is a cut above the rest. Identical in size to a standard 30mm arcade button, it boasts an integrated LED that operates independently from the switch action, offering both visual appeal and functional indication.

Crafted with a sleek black plastic body, the button includes a lamp holder inside. Originally crafted for 'incandescent' lamps, it's easily adaptable for LED use by simply wrapping the legs around the holder. While it comes with a clear white LED, opting for a diffused LED with wide illumination is preferable for a more uniform glow.

A unique feature is the ability to disassemble the button to place an image beneath the clear cover, perfect for visually striking backlighting effects. It comes equipped with a normally-open micro-switch. Once your preferred LED is in place, the micro-switch conveniently snaps in, allowing for easy future LED changes.
