Adafruit IC Socket - for 20-pin 0.3" Chips - Pack of 3

An IC socket enables effortless insertion and removal of integrated circuit chips within any electronic setup. This package offers three 20-pin, 0.3-inch wide sockets, perfectly suited for chips with a 20-pin layout and 0.3-inch pin spacing.

These sockets excel when soldered into Perma Proto boards or PCBs, allowing for easy chip replacement without the need to redesign your board, thanks to their consistent pin spacing and size. In the example provided, an IC socket is placed into an Adafruit Perma-Proto Breadboard, though any solderable PCB or protoboard is compatible.

Note: These sockets are not recommended for use with solderless breadboards due to their shorter pin length.
