This mini panel-mountable HDMI monitor with a built-in resistive touchscreen is perfect for projects requiring compact displays. Its versatile design allows seamless use with any HDMI-equipped computer, ensuring easy mounting to cases or rails.

The monitor features the TFP401, a robust DVI/HDMI decoder, providing straightforward plug-and-play functionality. With 800x480 resolution, the 5" display strikes a balance between size and usability, ideal for portable or embedded projects.

Power the entire display via USB, drawing a total of 500mA with the 50mA backlight. Reduce power consumption to 370mA by halving the backlight brightness or 250mA with the backlight off. For more control, use the PWM input for precise dimming.

This version includes touchscreen capability, detected as a USB mouse without requiring additional drivers. It functions well on various operating systems, including Mac, Windows, and Debian Linux. Optimal for single-board computers and standard desktops or laptops with HDMI.

Note the absence of video scaling; it delivers raw pixel data without resizing. An HDMI cable and a micro-B USB power cable are required, available separately. Perfect for innovative developments or simple setups with high functionality needs.
