Adafruit HDMI 4 Pi 5" Display not Touchscreen 800x480 - HDMI/VGA/NTSC/PAL

This compact 5" TFT display comes with a WVGA 800x480 resolution, perfect for embedded computing needs. Despite its size, the display ensures high-quality visuals for direct viewing.

Equipped with a driver board, it offers HDMI, VGA, and Composite inputs, supporting versatile connections. Setup is straightforward: connect a 5-12V DC adapter to the DC jack and plug in a video source.

Features include an intuitive menu system accessible via a wired PCB, allowing users to tweak brightness, color, and contrast. The display auto-detects inputs, enabling seamless switching.

Compatible with a Raspberry Pi, it's recommended to edit the config.txt file for optimal resolution settings, easily done through any text editor. BeagleBone Black users can simply plug in and use without additional configuration.

The display supports HDMI, VGA, and NTSC/PAL output, but requires converters for DVI. A 10" FPC cable can replace the included 4" one for more flexibility in setup.

While the power adapter and wire stand are not included, any 5 to 12V DC adapter works well, preferably 9V DC. Consult the technical tab for current specifications across different voltages.
