The antenna incorporates a 13 cm ground plane with six hybrid couplers to achieve signal phasing, making it less sensitive to manufacturing inconsistencies. This design innovation ensures superior performance and reliability.

The antenna features a TNC female connector, commonly found on surveying antennas. For compatibility with GNSS receivers, a TNC Male to SMA adapter or cable is recommended. The standard 5/8"-11TPI connector is used for mounting, which is not compatible with camera tripods. A 5/8" to 1/4" tripod adapter is recommended for mounting purposes. Additionally, 5/8"-11TPI threaded rods are readily available in most hardware stores in North America. For permanent installations, refer to the tutorial on building a DIY GNSS reference station.
