Pololu Glideforce LACT6P-12V-05 Light-Duty Linear Actuator with Feedback: 15kgf, 6" Stroke (5.9" Usable), 1.7"/s, 12V

The Glideforce Light-Duty (LD) series linear actuators by Concentric International are robust 12V DC gearmotors designed to move a shaft back and forth using a lead screw mechanism. With a static load capacity of up to 250 kgf for LACT versions and 30 kgf for GF23 versions, these actuators maintain their position even when unpowered. They include limit switches to prevent overextension and integrated diodes for direction reversal upon voltage reversal. Built with an aluminum frame and extension tube, these actuators are IP65-rated for protection against dust and water.

These actuators are versatile, available in various gear ratios and stroke lengths ranging from 5 cm to 30 cm. Optional potentiometers provide feedback on shaft position, making them suitable for feedback systems. They are perfect for applications requiring precise linear motion control, such as robotics, home automation, and industrial machinery.

One of the standout features of these actuators is their durability and reliability in harsh environments, thanks to their IP65 rating. The actuators have a stall current of 7 A at 12V, but typically draw much less under normal load conditions, making them efficient for various applications.

Actuators with feedback come with a 60 cm cable with specialized female connectors for easy connection to extension cables, while those without feedback have a 90 cm cable with stripped power leads, allowing flexibility in installation.
